The exhibition halls are raised in order to free the ground floor for the more open and transparent areas such as the lobby and the shop. A perforated metal-sheet façade emits illuminated images by night, and also works to hide the main structure supporting the elevated exhibition halls.
The two suspended halls face each other on different levels so that once outside, the city can be seen above or below the other hall. The top of the building, with views to the city and the new urban park, houses the cafeteria and restaurant as well as a terraced bar, giving views over the Ranillas Meander and the Expo Zaragoza.
