CASA 3x1 . Albolote

On a beautiful plot marked by its position in the middle of an immense agricultural terrain with views to Sierra Nevada comes the commission for designing a home for a young sports enthusiast professional.
The commission presented a clear program in which the main dwelling would add a second home - apartment that would serve to houseguests or for a possible extension of the main structure in the future. A large gym for promoter use and an area for his mother’s garden characterize the residential space available.
The proposal will focus on the concepts of structure, platform and topography, developed in an complementary way through three different proposals that allow us to research about the relationship between place and program, views and activity and between possibilities and desires. 3x1. Three different houses as three ideas that inhabit the same space between cultivate area, trees, mountains and sky
Structure. Continuation of the existing olive mesh. Grid. House vs garden. Repetition of a single element: A hollowed walls. Interchangeable adjacent spaces. Gateway, pool and terraces are arranged on the roof following the guidelines of the walls.
Platform. Continuation of the existing crops. Viewpoint house vs Buried house. Wall as contention of a elevated garden. Platform as a leisure space above the garden. Tower as a lookout over the landscape device: eye and periscope.
Topography. Continuation of the existing nature. Mountain vs house. Nature vs Object. Topography that defines the bearing surfaces where the objet-house is situated. House developed around the patio which surrounded the pool. The volume is carved by the orientation of the light orientation and major sights. Vertical and horizontal courtyards structure the relationship between the different spaces of the house.
