laTren is a facility for training and cultural production that aspires to be an intermediary element between disintegrated neighborhoods, disconnected or marginalized in the city of Saltillo. Proposes a concept of participatory center, open to the direct proposals of citizens, and therefore different from the traditional institutional cultural centers.
The center is developed in such a way that, in the construction process and cultural production, individuals and collectives will be the protagonists, and want to be more than an exhibition space, a place where could emerge programs of training and creativity from the concerns of the neighborhood and involved citizens, thereby promoting feelings of belonging and civic pride.
