Nuestra propuesta se sitúa en el patio de la casa Sambola. Un patio de dimensiones acotadas donde las paredes supuran historia gravada a golpes en la piedra.

LA CAJA DE FARADAY Y LA CIUDAD DIGITAL: El proyecto llamado Ciudad Digital, aloja un Centro de Proceso de Datos que se utiliza para la regulación automática de diversas instalaciones metropolitanas en el ámbito municipal almeriense. El Centro de Datos presta servicio también a diversas entidades y el edificio incorpora además un programa de oficinas en las plantas superiores. Está situado en El Toyo, un nuevo complejo urbano, residencial y turístico, abierto al Mediterráneo y cercano al aeropuerto de Almería, que se perfila como atractiva zona de regeneración y transformación. Una nueva ciudad de inmuebles y equipamientos con la tecnología más avanzada.

Entering the farm it is clear the relation between the volume of the new construction in harmony with the rehabilitated pre-existences, surrounding an existing stone pavement that define a courtyard which is both living area but also area for the farm chores. The set reframes and values the existent granary, opposed to the house’s cantilevered suite, with the granite wine press that finishes the opposite side of the courtyard.

Texel is the largest of the Dutch Wadden islands. It’s an island of sheep and fishermen, inhabited by equal amounts of sheep and people. Iconic features in the Texel landscape are the so called ‘schapenboeten’: little sheds that are not used for sheep, but for storage of hay and tools. They stand alone in the vast open meadows, on land far away from the farm. The sheds have a gabled roof with a bevelled top section and face southwest, which is the most common wind direction. The entrance door is situated on the straight and sheltered northeast side of the building.

Desde Abstract Female de 1955-58 hasta los últimas obras de 1997, Esteban Vicente, artista que empezó en el realismo académico, influenciado posteriormente por el cubismo francés y que evolucionó en Estados Unidos dentro del expresionismo abstracto, mantuvo a lo largo de su obra un deseo de equilibrio y perfección formal que contrasta con el gesto libre y suelto propio del action painting de los años 50, 60 y 70, años en los que desarrolló su carrera.

A low-inertia clip-on is added to a 1920s basque-style house which, interacting with the high-inertia masonry existing structure, produces a wide variety of climates. The clip-on provides a vertical shaft —new service core— which works as a climate mixer for the whole house. A new vertical garden with a water pulverization system contributes adds evapotranspiration to the climatic-physiological spectrum that the house provides.

The mixed use development called 1111 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach comprises four different parcels. An existing building, the former Suntrust building, is renewed since the bank has left the building to be accommodated around the corner. A mixed use structure for parking, retail and a private residence becomes attached to the Suntrust building. A two-story building with the relocated bank on the ground floor and four residences on the upper floor faces Alton Road, with a landscaped alley and surface parking lot behind it.

Shekou, developed as an industrial area in the 1970s to drive the economy of Shenzhen, has witnessed the transformation of the city from an industrial port into a financial and cultural hub. In search of a new position in Shenzhen's latest wave of development, Shekou does not aim to become another CBD like Futian, Qianhai and Houhai, but a unique area with a juxtaposition of old industrial buildings converted into offices for creative industries, and new shopping malls and international offices.

The currently run-down areas at the old bus terminal in the center of Aarhus are to be converted into a dense, lively and diverse neighborhood in the coming years. The new bus terminal is to be relocated to Aarhus Central Station above the tracks in addition to the extension of the Bruun’s Gallery shopping centre. Like pearls on a string, new and existing buildings of various shapes and sizes will encircle the area, transforming it into a new, attractive urban space. The pearl chain allows a flexible building structure – it is realized in different stages and over a period of time, as it retains parts of the existing building structure on site.

The Wallisian Alps rise in silhouette above the new Vouvry district schoolhouse, which lies on a flat plain between historic Vouvry village and the Rhone river. Larger-than-life commercial structures have long defined the character of settlements along the Rhone valley, and this new construction – which accommodates both classrooms and a sports arena under one roof – fits the mold perfectly. The uniform structure is coated in a fine layer of copper and brass that mirrors the surrounding greenery in softened and muted tones.

A late 19th century industrial building will be refurbished for Fondation d'Entreprise Galeries Lafayette to house exhibition and production spaces, with a focus on creation, innovation and research. OMA proposes to insert an exhibition tower into the courtyard of the building in which two sets of mobile platforms will offer a large repertoire of spatial configurations; the programmatic flexibility provided will increase the potential of the existing building. A production centre at the heart of the site underpins the Fondation, while the ground floor becomes a passage connecting rue du Plâtre to rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie and hosts the public programs.

The site is understood as a green plateau where the manor’s monolithic figure stands imposingly along a landscape axis, sloping gently to the banks of Lake Melasjärvi.
The strategy consists in placing the building out of the zone in between the manor, the plateau-park and the Taavetinsaari island, in mimicking the new building within the forest, and finally in respecting the recently renovated park, as well as the formal garden design.

The AstraZeneca Campus comprises a North and a South plot and is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The masterplan will be delivered in phases. The first phase includes the Global R&D Centre and Corporate Headquarters with the central courtyard on the North plot; it also includes the R&D Enabling Building and the Energy Centre on the South plot. Subsequent development will follow the completion of the first phase. Planned are a series of buildings on the South plot enclosing an elongated park that uses a similar formal planting language as the courtyard on the North plot. A consistent material palette throughout the North and the South plot unifies all buildings. The landscape concept creates a green carpet into which individual buildings, path systems and infrastructure are embedded and that allows a continuous visual connection between the separate elements.

Das Gebäude ist ein Zusammenspiel zweier Körper: Am beheizten Volumen dockt ein zweites, unbeheiztes Volumen mit Garage und darüberliegender Veranda an. Ähnlich der Thematik beim Haus in Oberentfelden sind die Kaltbereiche klar vom Hauptbaukörper abgetrennt, nur sind sie in diesem Fall gestapelt.
