The cruise ship terminal is defined as a functional and metaphorical link between nature and people.

The Line represents archetypal typology of a pier meeting the waving shape of a coastal environment. The sharp edges are preceisly visible in a landscape but at the same time the dock blends with the sourrounding with it's plain and simple surface.
The long promenade leading people from cruise ships towards the village provides a full range of activities that might attract tourists. The hyperdock is floating on the fjord's water and at the end becomes a public space with the local fish-market. The linear structure combined with the modular system supports a potential future development and modifications corresponding to current needs.
