Developed with the aim of pushing the university to the forefront of neuroscience and behavioral science research, the new complex will be part of a natural sciences neighborhood that Princeton is currently creating.

The two-building complex will promote the interdisciplinary nature of contemporary neuroscience research and bridge many disciplines. The complex, which will encompass 235,000 gross square feet, will feature state-of-the-art research facilities, meeting rooms, faculty offices and instructional space. The laboratories will feature state of the art equipment ranging from traditional neurophysiological recording and measurement to Princeton’s current $1.8 million, four-ton multifunctional magnetic resonance imaging scanner which is used for detailed brain scans.
