Untitled (The Space Beneath Us) represents a spatial and architectural reinterpretation of the ’Homage to the Square’ series of paintings by Joseph Albers.Dávila inserts three-dimensional planes into the landscape, thereby subverting painting into sculpture, and observation into activity.
