165m3 temporary house
Mikolai Adamus
The project is a 165m3 temporary house for six people. The main idea behind the project was to merge the walls , furniture and the equipment into one element that could be diversely used and still meet the the basic functions of walls.
This was made to ensure maximum space that could be used according to the users preferences and current needs.
The prototype consists of a framework (the fusion of the equipment and the walls) stacked together on 4 levels in a specific manner. The ground floor is the kitchen, the first floor is the living room and the two upper floors are the bedrooms and toilets.
the structure created this way has a large number of openings which makes the interiors seem more spacious. the prototype has two walls, which do not require direct contact with sunlight. These walls allow to connect prototypes in numerous configurations. When combined, living room walls can be modified to form a larger common area for couple of prototypes.
