Adrián Villar Rojas’s La inocencia de los animales (The innocence of animals) is an immersive installation that resembles both an amphitheater of antiquity and a postapocalyptic cavern. Consisting of cracked, crumbling clay and concrete, the work points forward and backwards—seemingly to the very beginnings of civilization and its aftermath.
