POP-UPchitecture:
2nd Future Environments Future Generations Workshop
PLAYstudio
POP-UP animation showing three future visions of our cities.
Primary schoolchildren and university students share a reflective experience about our cities' future image, by means of a playful approach to the concept of sustainability.
While video games were the tool for critique and work in the 1st workshop edition held in 2010, in this occasion it is POP-UP the meeting place for both schoolchildren and university students.
The seconds have taken the firsts' drawings, where they figure out their future environments, as starting point. Therefore, by constructing pop-ups, an intellectual exchange has been enabled. This leads the several proposals development.
It is not intended, in any case, to generate plausible or engaged results but to design a shared experience where the ones learn from the others.
This collective experience has been possible thanks to the sponsorship of CAMON Alicante.
