The cafe is located next to one of Tokyo’s busiest shopping centers. The site is on a triangular corner between a street that leads to Shibuya station and an elevated expressway.
The laser cutter sits in the middle of the 90 m2 (969 ft2) irregular floor plan. Seating is placed so that everyone can get a good view of the machine as it plots the customers’ latest creations. The fabrication process inside is also broadcast on a monitor on the wall.
The space hosts creative get togethers, workshops, and parties.
