Moon Bridge . Maritime and Culture Center . Kaohsiung

The site is a part of Kaohsiung’s ambition plan of creating a unified waterfront city. Today, the site is divided in two by the intersecting Love River.
Using the two programs - Maritime Cultural and Pop Music Center - we propose to bridge the gap and create a continuous park landscape that unifies the waterfront and, like a traditional chinese bridge, it becomes both a public space, landscape- and structural element in the park that frames the river and invites people into the heart of the city.
