Initial task: Create a new watch tower with the height of 7.5 m offering uninterrupted views towards the Aarhus bay area, the Aarhus leisure harbor and the historical city centre.

Rather than designing a structure that offers a fast visual climax at the peak, the Watch Flower is designed as a 155 m long three dimensional promenade offering constantly changing views to the context. The inclination of the path allows for full handicap accessibility making the structure open for everyone. All together the project transforms the initial idea of a new watch tower in to a new WATCH FLOWER.
