Hotel Portable - the hotel room in motion. The guest determines, where the room will be set up for an overnight stay. On arrival at the desired destination, the lobby-boy unfolds the hotel room providing a double bed, minibar service and television. Now the adventure can begin at the perhaps most extraordinary overnight location.

artistic statement
The concept of a portable hotel room as a defamiliarizing object, allows us to perform a spatial experiment. To what extent can a symbiosis occur between a public institution and a guest - between the host and it‘s parasite? Can Hotel Portable become the element, that interconnects people and institutions?
