Grabs lies at the foot of the Grasberg in the Rhine valley of St. Gallen.

The house is in a mature neighborhood with an ordered structure in the center of the community and blends inconspicuously into this situation.Designed as a wooden structure, it is heated entirely with wood logs. The oven heater was therefore placed centrally, in order to radiate optimally. As a result, the entrance, kitchen, dining and living rooms are situated around this core element.
